Kathy was born in
Florida
, and has lived all over the world.
Experienced in many fields including Accounting,
Tax, Finance, Commercial Banking, Securities and
Real Estate. In 1993, she earned her Certified
Financial Planning designation and started her own
Financial Planning and Real Estate firm in
Fort Collins
Colorado
. In 1997, she returned to
Florida
, received her Florida Real Estate Broker license,
and entered into the Commercial Real Estate market.
She was intrigued by the field of Business Brokerage
and started her own firm in 2000. Her varied
background and abilities coupled with her own small
business background gives her a unique ability to
see the overall picture of a transaction. Kathy has
completed the prestigious Certified Business
Intermediary designation and is an active member of
the International Business Brokers Association. She
is also an active mother and loving
grandmother.

Jim
Mauro is a native of Long Island New York. Raised in
an environment of strong family values and hard work
ethics. Jim spent most of his career in the
manufacturing industry, working for World Class
companies that are continually on the cutting edge
of technology and manufacturing processes. IBM,
Hewlett Packard, Grumman Aerospace and
Pall Land & Marine. After many successful years
of working and learning from these model companies
,Jim founded his
first Precision Sheet Metal job shop in 1991, then an
additional company in 1994 .Jim joined forces with
Kathleen Richardson in 2000 to form Florida’s
Business Connection. He brings more than 30 years of
solid business experience to our organization. A
dedicated father and grandfather he lives what he
believes.... Hard Work and Perseverance will result
in Success!
